日本の国際化が進むなかで英語の基礎力が必要になってきています。外国の技術を日本にインプットしたり、日本の技術を外国にアウトプットしたりする場面で英語でのTechnical ReadingとTechnical Writingの力が求められているのです。

この講座では、従来の英語学習方式を改善し、数学、電気、電子、機械、情報、化学、生物の技術分野での因果関係や構成などの機能別、発想別に技術英語を習得する「機能英語」方式で学習を進めます。これにより広範囲の技術英文の読解力と英作文の基礎が合理的に身につきます。

学習目標

  • 広い技術分野にわたる英文技術マニュアル、技術レポートや科学論文などの読解力の基礎を養成します。
  • 「機能英語」方式により、英作文の基礎力と技術英文作成の応用力が身につきます。
